Mike’s got a concern about China’s recent currency devaluation. Lou’s heading to Woofstock later in the day and the Gazette team will be deploying the new Gazette drone to shoot some aerial footage. Lou is convinced that Mr. X is absolutely on target in emphasizing the importance of voting with our dollars. The crew discusses a fe anti-establishment candidates, including Bernie Sanders. Mike briefly touches on corruption in his neck of the woods in Texas. Gary calls in to mention the current effort to unseat John Boehner from his Speakership position. Mr. X offers his take on some of the dynamics of significant change, and avoiding working on the periphery.

Segment II (18:36)
Frank Sorick discusses his candidacy for Wilkes-Barre mayor. His campaign theme song? Krista Branch’s “Can You Hear Us Now?” Lou is convinced that a Sorick administration would bring a renaissance to the city and that a Sorick upset win could start a chain-reaction of such political victories. Mr. X says, regarding government transparency, that “the people that are in charge should be watched closer than the public they are meant to serve.”

Segment III (33:29)
Lou can’t find a Jeb Bush supporter. In fact, he’s got the results of the “All American In God We Trust” presidential poll taken two days earlier at the monthly Patriot Connectors meeting at Wallenpaupack Hgh School, a group which leans conservative and Republican, with members from Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey. The results from 125 responses?

Democratic Party
• Clinton . . . 0.8%
• O’Malley . . . 0.8%

Republican Party
• Santorum . . . 0%
• Pataki . . . 0%
• Graham . . . 0%
• Perry . . . 0.8%
• Jindal . . . 0.8%
• Huckabee . . . 1.6%
• Bush . . . 1.6%
• Christie . . . 1.6%
• Walker . . . 2.4%
• Paul . . . 2.4%
• Kasich . . . 3.2%
• Rubio . . . 4.0%
• Fiorina . . . 7.2%
• Cruz . . . 19.2%
• Carson . . . 19.2%
• Trump . . . 35.2%

Mr. X sees the race as ultimately about cults of personality.

Segment IV (50:32)
Lou reads Congressman Tom Marino’s response to some inquiries concerning the developing Iran deal. Neither Congressman Matt Cartwright nor Senator Bob Casey responded to requests for comments on the matter. Mr. X says politicians do everything to stymie discussion and debate.
